Happy weekend all! For those who are interested, I have attached a couple of pictures of artifacts from 1 of dozens of boxes collected from the 1700’s-present occupied house. There’s so much more to sort and discover. Unlike my old bottle digs, we keep everything. It all tells a story. In this box, we found the usual pounds of glass and pottery, some Indian pottery, a few shards of 18th century plate ware (Majorca, faience), a welfare token, bones, forged nails, stoneware, and much more. Thanks for the help with the glass and more questions to come.

Soon as it stops snowing, I’ll post some close up’s. There’s a nice old olive case lip I’d like to get some age estimates, an intact French glass seal from a liquor bottle, and a lot of black and green glass bottoms that may have some old examples. Most of semi-intact kick-up bottoms seem to be slip-mold variety. Thanks for looking!

it be pretty hard for anyone here to id bottles based on that picture , need close up's and more details about the broken pieces to try and determine what they were originally

Hi all. Original pictures just for scope view. We will post pictures of specific artifacts we are trying to identify for age, manufacturer location, and use. Attached are a couple of pictures of a case type lip fragment we think may be older than most items and maybe blown from Stoddard or other New England glassworks. But we don’t know! Any comments? Lip is very crudely done. Profile picture is with incandescent “daylight” light and picture from above is with pure white light for gem ID. Sun is not out today. Thanks in advance for all help!

Wow that top has crazy nice color! Hope you find a whole bottle. That spot looks very promising.

Thanks Robbie. Do you think this might be a New England maker?
