I seem to noticed after all my years of digging that screw tops seem to start being seen/used around 1920 on medicine/pharmacy/druggist bottles ect, ect. but have seen them on Kecthups around turn of the century 1900, maybe even 1890's & pretty sure some other bottles had them pre 1890 but I've never seen anybody anywhere exactly answer that question.
Usually screw tops before 1900 were ground lip.

I agree the 30 is when you see alot of company's change over to it it's just a guild line to me. It surprised me to realize how little information about some of these bottles is out there even with coca cola bottles.

Bill Porter has a good Coca Cola Book. No Prices but has a rarity rating. Are you familiar with it? LEON.

No I'm not I don't to much care for collect coke everyone does an it drives the price up. I like the odd ball stuff you never see or hear about. I just want the cokes to fund my time there to be honest.

I would guess 30- 40

Hi, great-looking medicine, never saw one like it.

One clue to age is the mold seams if it has any. If they go through the lip, it was made by an automatic bottle machine, post-1903. If the seam does NOT reach the lip, it's probably pre-1903.
I haven't kept up with all the new discoveries and advances in evaluating bottles, but in my heyday of collecting them (1970s) that was my rule of thumb!!

There are a couple of different sizes of the Cheney's, in clear and in aqua. How tall is yours? Here's one I found in the creek many, many years ago.
