Black glass bulge neck found in Alor Indonesia

I found this this morning on a dive in eastern Indonesia. Cleaned with vinegar to remove marine growth.
Can anyone identify the type of bottle, age and likely contents please. Its about 27cm tall.

Nice find! Definitely not my area of expertise but looks like an older one, looks like it's got a pontil. Presumably it's European, looks very similar to later whisky bottles but that could just be a coincidence.

I don't recognize the origin of this bottle. It's unlikely to be European. While there must be plenty of foreign bottles to be found in Indonesian waters, I'm guessing this one was made in that region. The lip is a good imitation of a Western lip finish, but the base does not look at all familiar.
