Bottle found in clay ceiling from Macys

I’m working at the Macys downtown Chicago off of state street. While chipping through the clay/concrete ceiling I found this bottle. Was wondering if anyone knew what this would have been used for? It has absolutely nothing on it other than a 5 at the base of the bottle. Would assume it’s older that 1900 considering it would have been put in there while the building was being built.

Not much, unfortunately. Unmarked bottles like this don't usually generate much collector interest. It's a shame there isn't a label on it, bottles left in the walls of old buildings often have excellently preserved labels.

with no name embossed on it or no paper label it's known as a no name Slick with very little value. Having the original screw on cap may add some value to it. Just my opinion. Leon.
