Am wondering what bottle guide books you folks would recommend for someone who would like to get more information on the value and history of different soda bottles? Our library system doesn't have any so I'd like to go to abebooks or amazon or somewhere to pick up a book or two but don't know which ones would be the most helpful. Thanks in advance for any ideas! Sorry to bump this old thread, but figured it would be better than starting another. You're in Illinois? Do you have Central Illinois Bottles and Glasses? It's the only bottle book I have so far and I'm eager to get others. It's out of print and copies don't seem to turn up often. I had a hell of a time procuring one.

No, don't have any books on the subject. Have a couple bottles from the central Illinois area. I live in Sullivan. Would like to hook up with some other collectors in the area and would really enjoy digging for bottles some time.
