Bottle maker? What kind of bottle? Age?

Trying to identify this bottle makers mark, type of bottle & age. VE on bottom but it is not Vetreria Etrusca mark. Wire bail, #2 on bottom of metal topper, with remains of wax on outside of stopper & crown. Bubbles, glass drip marks on lower side & has side seams. Thank you in advance! Sara

Hiya Sara welcome to A-B.net Interesting bottle here.... certainly from abroad - possibly Italian or another Mediterranean country or a Baltic country. I find it interesting that the base is orderly and crisp as is the crowntop lip finish (sorta). But the body is a royal mess. o_O:p
That is a Putnam stopper I believe. which is also interesting...
Anyways... I don't have anything else to add except thank you for sharing the pics and question.. There are a lot of talented and knowledgeable ppl here that will chime in I'm certain!
