This rare Art Deco soda from Cuba (larger one, ‘Venus’)

just in. It goes nicely with my other. I consider both rare because they are from well before the revolution was completed in 1959, but post-War.

I also love how both are MINT. How does that happen in the midst of all that turmoil?! Maybe they were taken out before things got heavy. Who knows. Wondering about the times and places these relics have seen is something I really like about them.

If anybody else has either, especially ‘Venus’, right now the only known copy, please leave a note.

never seen any Cuban art deco's before but not surprised they'd have some .

people from Canada have been able to travel freely to Cuba for years , its a very popular winter destination ( maybe not this year don't think anyone's still going but it used to be )

I knew that, that Canadians would go, but American’s were forbidden.

You found yourself a Quinabeer bottle! Nice find. I live in GTMO and I’ve only found a handful of the clear ones. My first real bottle find was a Quinabeer.
