WANTED: BEER CANS

I had a post in here last year about wanting beer cans but cant find it now? Got a few responses, Anyways, If anybody dumps or finds any rusty old cone tops or flat top beer cans from the 1930's & 40's I'd be Interested in Buying. Rusty ones OK also. THANKS, LEON.

Thank you hemi and I picked up several whole/complete where I was messing around that fallen tree, but they passed up 'rusty' cpl weeks ago, just rust, likely more accurate! I thought I could make out a Schultz, a Budweiser, and Busch on 3 but had to be holding your mouth just right to see an outline of logos, but then it'd hide the rust

Schlitz or Schultz, Schlitz extremely common. Schultz extremely Rare. LEON.

Autocorrect always seems to change what you don't want changing, then when you're one letter away from the word you're trying to type, that most would consider obvious..........crickets

Schlitz is what I was trying to type, but here's what I managed to get home in 1 piece, but I would bet a few coins that I could get some more

I was not aware of the 16 oz beer cans being around before pull or pop tops, did the have the 24 oz fence post as well? Anybody know when they introduced the world to the 40 oz??? I can vaguely make out a rectangle, slanted uphill, similar to a Miller high life, or maybe a schlitz, on the bigger can, but that's about all! Now this one has something a lil different than the others, however, it's probably in the worst shape! In fact my finger just went through the side, just picking it up! This guy's seam is staggered, as opposed to a straight seam like all the others

The big name brands like Schlitz, Budweiser, Busch, Miller, Pabst, ect., ect., are extremely common. Best to find some oddball oddname rarer cans. unless you'd just like to clean & display those common cans, I got like 3000 different Beer Cans so not much excites me any more unless it's rare. LEON


P.S. The first 16 oz. can was probably the Krueger Cone Top around the early 1940's I think it was.

P.S.S. They made 32 oz. cans in late 30's.

The best Busch Beers are the first Busch from 1955 & the Busch Lager (red&gold) can.

I'll bet yours hailed from St. Louis although they also came from many other cities. LEON.
