had the oppurtunity to buy this at a local auction for a reasonable price , don't really know much about old newspapers so have no idea what its worth or how rare it would be ? old paper doesn't survive much so one can assume there isn't too many copies of my hometown newspaper still around from the 1890's especially one as clean as this one

isn't alot in it of interest , not sure why this specific paper was saved for so long as there doesn't seem to be anything special about it , from an average august day in 1894 and seems to contain nothing of interest worth noting .

is a couple vintage ads worth mentioning , one is for the grand opening of a new department store in town ,

also 2 ads for druggists, one called " the palace drug store " and other " C A Wattson chemist & druggist " his ad was in paper cause he opened a new store front . odd his ad says he was a graduate of the ontario college of pharmacy but also the state of colorado board of pharmacy ( which is no where near here ) . never seen a bottle from him but maybe one exists somewhere ?
