Hi I'm new here and looking for info on some bottles I found this summer. near Seattle, WA.I was down on some local mudflats and saw a bottle neck sticking out of the mud, so I pulled it out and it was a embossed Adams Bros. Oakland, CA dated 1936.Curious that there might be more, I dug out three more embossed ACL bottles that read Campbell Brothers with dates on the bottom of 1938.The Bottles were manufactured by Owens-Illinois at plant 20. Theres's a smooth flat part of the bottle for a label.I found info on the Adams bottle, but the only thing close that I can find so far is Camarano Brothers (which I have ).Any information you may have will be appreciated-Thanks!

Campbell Bros. Rootbeer Bottle

I recently found one of those in a friend of mine's family farm dump, in Fiife. and like you have found very little info on them. still trying to figure out this site, or I'd send a pic. mine has the label intact. mine is also embossed with Tacoma on it, on the bottom, and written in the label. I think is dated 1944.

How did you get the date of 1938? Mine says 44 and it seems yours looks exactly the same as mine. I found mine on a farm in Fife, in 2016. and only one. Luckily, mine still has the ACL intact. You ight have rubbed yours off? I let mine dry before I cleaned it. I learned that the hard way on a same spot 7-Up bottle. From what I've found, Campbell Bros had a plant on Center Street and just off Union in Tacoma.
