Can help me identify this bottle?

I came across this bottle and hoping one of u maybe can help me in identifying this please. Thanks .

Probably some kind of household chemical or cleaning solution? Maybe medicine but who knows. I have found these in 1930s dumps and when the stuff leaks out the rusted caps it stinks like oily turpentine or maybe furniture polish or similar. It's the right size for cough syrup or liniment maybe too. Possibly veterinary?? Keep looking where you found this if it's trashy. Might find some late throws or blue canning jars. Hopefully half pints!

It could also be a perfume. Huot(sp) out of NYC used this style bot.

Can you smell anything leaking out of the bottle? Bet it stinks!

No it has no odour coming out from the bottle or leaking, thanks everyone for your feedback much appreciated I will keep looking

I would advise somewhat against considering opening it to get a good whiff. Some of these old chemicals can darn near kill you after ripening for 75 or 100 years underground in sealed bottles. Who really knows what that crap is in there!? Could have been poisonous to begin with
