I stumbled upon this old "warranted flask" bottle recently, and despite searching the internet for a similar bottle, I couldn't find any.

Does anyone have any information about it? I can include more pictures if necessary.

Welcome to the forum!

Warranted flasks were widely used in the early 1900's, "warranted" meaning they were designed to hold the exact amount of product (usually liquor) that was claimed.. most are otherwise unembossed, and only a paper label would have ID'd them.. the numbers on the base of yours are a mold #

Thanks! I have heard they are quite common. I got it for 25 cents because I thought it looked pretty cool.

They are common but nice looking bottles IMO, now you need to add different sizes and colors to your collection...

They can make an impressive display because there a probably a hundred different variations on embossing, size, and colors. Cool find for a quarter. That's what I call a fair price.

i had a perfectly clear one and i stuck it out in foil-lined box for a couple months and it turned a really nice purple shade- makes a common flask a little more interesting to look at.
Mines just a regular sized one like yours, but sometimes you get lucky and find a giant one... the giant ones are always interesting.
nice find for $0.25!
