Hello, my first post. Can anyone identify this makers mark and if so any info you can or point me in the right direction. I only found the base unfortunately. Thank you

I poked around the internet and found that this kind of decoration was not uncommon in the early western United States. I didn't see this exact cross pattern, but I did find a star pattern. The bottle bases page on www.sha.org has a load of information.

I would think more in terms of a mold identification mark. Seen as an X, +, or cross. 1850-1900.
