I have this old green carbolic acid glass bottle. Trying to figure out what year it’s from and possible there is any value to it.

Looks to be three piece molded, so at the very latest would date to the 1910's but I suspect it is somewhat earlier than this.

That's a beautiful bottle! Tough to guess the value because not too many of us are familiar with the UK bottle market. Age-wise I'd guess roughly 1900, give or take a decade or so. I haven't seen those poison-style lips used on bottles much older than that as far as I can remember. The three piece mold and applied lip would indicate it was much older if it came from North America, but the older techniques were used for quite a bit longer in the UK.

A very late reply. But Carbolic Acid had an important spot in the history of modern medicine! It was the first universally accepted antiseptic, thanks to Dr. Joseph Lister- a British surgeon who studied Pasteur's germ theory. Carbolic Acid was sold for this purpose (reference the text on your bottle where it talks about cleaning rooms) starting in the mid-late 1860s. Lister used a diffusing/spray device to clean surgical rooms and tools prior to use.
