Case Gin - Real or Repro?

I found this case gin at an Estate Sale Warehouse. It is 14 1/2 inches high, has a rolled lip, a serious open pontil and some high point wear on the bottom corners. It has the usual amount of seed bubbles but no potstones. The color seems lighter then any I've seen.

What do you think real or repro?

Looks right to me as well, have never seen a case gin faked or reproduced.

Due to low end collectors value over the many years, and many "gin" style bottles made, it wouldn't make sense to reproduce this style. Most reproductions start where the bottles are very collectible, of historical nature and rare. There are exceptions to that being sodas. Millions of sodas and variations of embossing seem endless and selecting one to reproduce would produce such limited sales it would be futile to even think about reproducing it. You have a genuine beautiful example of a case gin. Unfortunately, due to vast numbers made the value is minimal. In this field of bottle collecting uniqueness, color, rarity does not create value....the market and collectors interaction is what creates value and value amount is in the eyes of the beholder.

Great find! These larger case bottles are harder to find. This one is no doubt Continental and probably dates to the early 1800s.

Mine is German-made, I believe, from the late 1700s. The square shoulders and the funnel lip finish is diagnostic.
