A damaged Hemingray 103-- one of only two embossed spool-types they made. Circa 1900ish - 1920ish. Source. My first glass insulator of this type.

Bottom and chip. ^ Got it at the bottle club. Was being thrown on the $5 table, but the man lets me buy what I want off of him before he sets them out for others. There was a Canadian and green Star insulator that I wanted, but I let others get first shot as I got what I most wanted from the selection-- and I lost out on the other two. Maybe next time I'll not do that. lol. Nice addition for me in any event.

Spools are fun! If you get some more, try and find a spool rack to put them in, it really adds to the spools display. I will add, there are more than two embossed Hemingray spools, even from that era.
