finally got my hands on one of the rarest kist bottles out there. that's rights folks, i am the proud owner of an amber kist bottle. as far as i know they are extremely rare. this one is a 32oz. on a scale of 1 to 10, i'd say an 8.5. if anyone has any info please post. here's the front

the only other amber kist bottle i have heard of was on a post from 2005 about kist bottles. acls had a picture of one he took at a bottle show.

i really hoped there would be more interest and comments about this bottle. any ideas about it? i always wondered what flavor was bottled in these.

I don't like ACL bottles, but I'll make an exception for this one! For some inexplicable reason, I like it... I figure maybe they bottled root beer in it, because amber is usually synonymous with root beer?

Hey John. That's a great bottle. I saw one at the Knoxville show about 15 years ago. They wanted $75 for it I think. I know it's rare, but that's about it. I always associate amber glass ACLs with either rootbeer (like Wheelah pointed out) or chocolate.

i'm leaning toward it containing chocolate drink myself. kist had a seperate bottle for rootbeer which was labled kist rootbeer. maybe one day when it's nothing going on i'll get out all my kist bottles and take a newer picture. it's grown alot since i started posing in 2005.
