Excited to learn as much as possible about this bottle and get it listed in the near future, as well (probably eBay). This Amber Perry, FL Chero-Cola (6.5 Fl Oz) bottle was dug out of a privy in St. Joseph, MO by my dad and the late Antique Bottle connoisseur, Johnnie Fletcher, in May of 2000. The layer of the privy that the bottle was discovered in also turned up bottles from roughly 1910-1920 which would match the potential age of this bottle, based on the slanted angled-blocked lettering (missing the paper label, obviously) and the Perry, FL Chero-Cola bottling plant being operational from 1915 through 1923. Though I've worked to research further, this is all that I know about the bottle. I have been hard pressed to find any other examples of the Amber Perry, FL bottle, save for one, that sold on eBay about 10 years ago. This bottle is in remarkable condition for having spent 80ish years in a privy hole and now being roughly 100+ years old. The bottle is crack and chip free and has a couple of cool air bubble imperfections along the 'seem'. Hope someone has some more knowledge on this type of Chero-Cola Bottle and the Perry, FL bottling plant. If you know of any other Amber Chero-Cola Perry, FL bottles that have sold in recent memory, LMK!

That's a great bottle! I saw one sell on eBay in 2014, but I don't remember exactly how much it sold for. I do know that the amber Perry, FL Chero-Cola is quite rare, with only a few other known examples. I don't know much about the Perry Chero-Cola plant itself, but I've seen far more aqua Chero-Colas from Perry than amber ones. There's just not that much info out there that I've been able to find about the amber bottles. A good estimate for the date is 1915-1920. Congrats on an awesome bottle!
