Civil War Era? Who done it?

Ok I posted on FB and searched the web best I know how.
Some say this is a William Walton some say William Frank.
What have I got here
Came from Civil War Brandy Station Area Trash pit dig from the 1970's!

I've been collecting bottles on and off for 40yrs..... never seen a bottle like this with a slug plate for label!
Mighta been found at Civil War site but possibly a lil older than 1860 - 1865?

Interesting, I've never seen one of those either. I suspect it's European, likely a fairly fancy product.

Pretty certain it's American and likely was label under glass in the fancy frame. Similar to this:

Oh wow I had no idea they did label under glass bottles for bitters and the like!

The confuser here is the fleur de lis on top and bottom.
Google searched and searched and have yet to see a pic of one just like it.

Someone said William Frank and Son coulda made it but yet to see a pic

It's possible. They made the Monopole bitters bottle and I've seen a bottle similar to the embossed Walton bottle that is embossed on the base with Wm Frank & Sons. However, they were in business after the Civil War and the label under glass patent they worked under was from 1873, so that would put your bottle well after the Civil War. I have not seen a version exactly like yours but have seen a handful of variations.
