Thanks for that info, I did just look with a magnifying glass and did find "17N" and the the number 2 spaced about a half inch away from the "17N", mean anything?
Probably indicates the year and maybe the plant. The 2 is probably another code for the mould number. So I'd safely guess that it is 1917.

Okay, either 1917 or 1902. Is there a mold seam going over the lip?
