Hi all - I'm wondering if anyone knows about small 6 oz green beer bottles without labels. I'm finding a bunch that have XFB over NCC embossed on the side at the heel of the bottles. Also finding "FE", "FD", "M", etc. They all have crown finishes and are machine made - but not clear if they are made in a fully- or semi-automatic machine. They were found in Vancouver, BC. Anyone know about those codes? Date is likely around 1915-1920.

I remember coming across these, no idea what the company was. I agree with Bruce that they're likely European, especially considering how many European bottles ended up in BC.

Could be mineral water too. I’m not sure if it’s even a beer bottle but is definitely qualifiable to be one. I agree with Bruce that it looks European and it probably is since Canada, being owned by Britain until 1982, had things imported from Britain in the masses. You will commonly find English bottles in Canada. You pretty much have the date range right too.
