cool soda water bottle

found this neat bottle with what appears to be a bulldog embossed on front and finding the info on it was interesting since its my hometown....Hyman H. Sugarman is identified as a peddler in the 1909 Ottawa City Directory. In 1912 he is listed as a soda water manufacturer.

That's a cool bottle! It seems like Ontario has some really cool bottles with animals embossed! I have a pharmacy bottle from Ontario that has a beaver embossed on it.

I like those Sugarman bottles, don't think I have one of them in my collection. Nice find!

i don't have one but have seen several different Sugarman bottles from Ottawa

listed in book as having operated from 1910-1936 , so he was one of the larger Ottawa bottlers during that era
