My father in law has one of these also in mint condition. Yours is the only other one we've ever seen. He's been selling bottles for 30+ years now and says it it the most rare bottle in his collection. We have no idea what the value may be, but would love to know!Does anybody have any information regarding this cornflower blue "33" beacon chemical corp.(bleach) bottle.I have always found the amber ones, but never a colorized one esp.in cornflower blue. This was found in Union co.FLA. during 2009.I collect insulators primarily, but i do know that bleach bottles were amber colored to protect the contents from the sun,and that they are a dime a dozen, however I never knew that there were any colorized ones.Thanks.

This is a weird one because it's a very rare example of a beautiful colour used for a type of bottle which no one collects. With something like that you can only really figure out value by putting up it for auction and seeing what you get, but I've got a feeling that it wouldn't end up selling for very much. The high values usually come from specialist collectors who are trying to get as complete a collection as possible of one particular type of bottle. There are no completist bleach bottle collectors, so you would only get interest from generalist bottle collectors who are usually not a group inclined towards spending a lot of money because there are a near-infinite number of cool-looking bottles out there which can be had for fairly cheap. I would personally be pretty surprised if it sold for more than $50.My father in law has one of these also in mint condition. Yours is the only other one we've ever seen.
