couple rusted soda bottle caps found in the lake

found a piece of green glass when swimming and put it on the dock not knowing there was anything attached to it .

to my surprise contained some rusted bottle caps and when i flipped them over was some colour remaining


is 2 coca cola caps with local markings for Browns Beverages , 1 in better condition than other . not sure how old they are

other cap has some purple colour and i cleaned a bit off it ( not pictured ) its a Stubby Beverages Grape cap , not sure how old ?


going to let them dry for a bit and try and clean them some more somehow , be curious to see how much is still there

The caps would need to be bent to fit thru the neck...maybe it's just a bunch of stuff that settled or was dumped.
