Craigslist pickups

I responded to a craigslist ad for old bottles a few towns away from me, and ended up driving to this 80 year old mans property to pick his barn. In the upstairs were about 30 boxes all filled with old bottles that he had dug in the 50s-70s. After a few hours of going through the boxes i ended up coming away with some nice locals from berkshire county. McMahon & Mcauley 102 Summer St Adams Mass

Pretty nice, I don't see how you could have resisted buying them all if they were priced decently. I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. Jim

It wasn't easy, they were priced to sell. He had some other really nice bottles, but I live in a small apartment with a 1 year old so space is an issue and I have to stick to my primary collection, which is Berkshire county bottles. I got a couple of druggist bottles too but they need a good cleaning before a picture.
