We have all seen plenty of amber Weyth. This looks like a cobalt one that took a walk on the wild side. Probably should be entered in an art show. I believe even Mr. Pabst would give it the blue ribbon.

The iridescence is caused by being buried underground for many years, thus interacting with mineral deposits and soil composition. The bottle takes on different looks when held at certain angles. Pretty cool!

That's one thing about recovering botts from the deeps - no iridescence. The closest I've seen is on botts pulled from dock areas in harbours, where fuel oil has contaminated the bottom sediments; it however, is external and not the least bit attractive, so off to the tumbler she goes.
