been meaning to post about this bottler for a while but forgot , the Credit Valley Bottling Works was located in Georgetown Ontario . which is a small city just outside Toronto near Brampton .
it appears to have started around 1925 and was operated/owner by a William Schenk . I believe it lasted into the 70's ? . it had some local flavours and also bottled several major brands such as Orange Crush , Hires , America Dry and John Collins ( might of been some others )
the earliest mention of them in the Georgetown Newspaper is from 1925 and mentions they were bottling Orange Crush
was also a mention from 1930 that says they were bottling an Orange drink called " Orange De-Oro " which I'm assuming was a local flavour as I've never heard of it before
have been trying to find an embossed bottle from Credit Valley made by dominion glass but haven't found one yet .
its a typical embossed dominion glass bottle like this one but would feature embossing that read's " Credit Valley Bottling Works " Glen Williams Ont contents 6 - 1 /2 oz ,rd 1928 by dominion glass co ltd
