been meaning to post about this bottler for a while but forgot , the Credit Valley Bottling Works was located in Georgetown Ontario . which is a small city just outside Toronto near Brampton .

it appears to have started around 1925 and was operated/owner by a William Schenk . I believe it lasted into the 70's ? . it had some local flavours and also bottled several major brands such as Orange Crush , Hires , America Dry and John Collins ( might of been some others )

the earliest mention of them in the Georgetown Newspaper is from 1925 and mentions they were bottling Orange Crush

was also a mention from 1930 that says they were bottling an Orange drink called " Orange De-Oro " which I'm assuming was a local flavour as I've never heard of it before

have been trying to find an embossed bottle from Credit Valley made by dominion glass but haven't found one yet .

its a typical embossed dominion glass bottle like this one but would feature embossing that read's " Credit Valley Bottling Works " Glen Williams Ont contents 6 - 1 /2 oz ,rd 1928 by dominion glass co ltd

note these ones say " Glen Williams " Ontario , its a small village rate beside Georgetown . not sure why some used it instead but same town

Great ads and history thanks for posting. I’ve been looking for the green acl bottle for awhile. Think it’s not very common. Good luck on getting an embossed.

I don't think the green bottles are very common . not sure if they have any other bottles . would assume there is a 30 oz version of the green 7 oz bottle as most bottlers had one . but they operated for a while so could be some others .

Thanks for the research,I've only been able to find the 8oz. clear bottle and will now have a better idea of what I'm looking for.

the 8 oz clear seems to be the most common , but there is several other bottles that they used as they operated for some time in Georgetown .
