Creek walk marbles

My gritty city creek is rocky and very tough on marbles. Here are today's finds.

Back to my local creek today and found 4 more marbles, one is a clay (which I was very lucky to spot). I've seen fragments of slug-plated bottles in this creek, so the clay marble confirms that there is old stuff here.

I've found them (clay marbles) in Florida rivers. I think they were used as sling-shot ammo after birds or turtles.

I know they lose value being stream tumbled and all. I love the way they look for some reason. Thanks for the pics.
