Christo-Cola 1916-1918, Crystal Springs 1921-1924, Coca-Cola 1922-1929 Bottling Works here in Front Royal, VA

Crystal Springs out of Luray was bottling sodas here in Front Royal on Jackson St. in 1921 through 1924.

The manager's son (Samuel C. Simpson) of the Herwitz Creamery working in the Old Virginia Orchard plant next to the Crystal Springs Bottle Company went on to manage the Coca-Cola plant here in town until it was purchased in 1926 by the Central Bottling Company.

Frank Coffman a decorated war hero worked his way up the ranks eventually managing this Coca-Cola plant here in Front Royal, creating the "Valley Bottlers Association" then moving on in 1930 to manage the Harrisonburg, VA plant.

The Coca-Cola bottling works here in town was built by September of 1922, then after the fire in November was re-built by the end of March in 1923.

After 1929 as far as I can tell it was used as a wharehouse for the Central Bottling Company until relocating in the early 60's to 525 E Main St.

Med in great shape from Trout Drug Store here in Front Royal, VA. It's marked "Patten Applied For S. Bros" underneath. Still standing today.
