picked up these two the other day and was wondering about them . anyone how to date code the papa . junior has a weird mark on the bottom . thought of madman when i was buying them . you gotta love it when acl and embossing comes together .

the junior says dallas ft worth bottling company . heres the bottom of the papa . its 9 43 2

also picked up this Mc DONALDS DRINKS from cleburne texas .

nice addition's never seen the brown glass papa, the papas i have are ND NR and clear w/paper labels .58 & 59 on the base and the whole family is here .mama is an ACL ,brown glass and embossed , king size and big junier..makes me wish i had pics.[][8|]

I am fairly certain this is the maker's mark on your Junior bottle (1948).

T, resembling an anchor, with smaller, angular M and C nestled underneath to the left and right .. Thatcher Manufacturing Company/Thatcher Glass Mnfg. Corporation (c.1904-1985). First plant at Elmira, NY, but later many others were added including locations at: Kane, Pa; Streator, IL; Wharton, NJ; Mt. Vernon, OH; Lockport, NY; Clarksburg, WV; Olean, NY; Winchester, IN; Cedar Grove, WV; Parkersburg, WV; Lawrenceburg, IN; Muscatine, IA; Saugus, CA and Tampa FL. Mark is often indistinct and the 2 smaller letters may be illegible.

And the Papa is an Owens-Illinois bottle ... 9 <(I)> 43 (1943)
