Hi all, looking for some assistance determine the date on a bottle. I've seen a few threads on the schweppes torpedo bottle, but none seemed to have any recent activity, This is a bottle my mom has had for years. I've done a little digging and I've been able to turn up some general info on these bottles. This one looks is a torpedo bottle with the blob top. It's a decent condition - no major chips or anything, but does have surface scratches and marks, likely from being in the ground at one point. The lettering (J. Schweppes Co.) is wore some, so you do have to move/tilt the bottle to read it clearly. Does anyone know how I can determine the date/range of when this bottle might have been produced? Appreciate any insight, as this is new to me. Thank you!
