My buddy just got this bread loaf demi John this morning at an estate sale. Can anyone give me some info on it? Hopefully the picture works!!

I'm not sure, I have never even seen it in person. My buddy was all excited so he sent me the picture and asked me to post it for some info.

I am by no means an expert and my comments are a guess but I'm sure this is a WINE bottle from either Spain, Portugal or Italy. I believe it is not 100 years old but I sincerely hope I'm wrong.I'm responding to this post mostly to say "HELLO" to one of my favorite trading buddies. []
