I dunno if I'm getting more picky about spending my money or if I just didn't see much I wanted this year. Last year I went with not much money and saw alot I wanted. So this year I took a little more money and didn't see a thing I couldn't live without.

Picked up these two though. As many of these 1948 6oz NDNR Pepsi's that went through Mebane Country Store auction the last two years I really thought they would be alot easier to find. Bet they auctioned off a hundred or so last year. Bought it from a man who got a few of those hundred. The Sunny Isles is from the McPherson Brothers Beverage Co. Has no city but I think they are from Littleton, NC.

gotta agree with you. went with extra this year but came away with less than ever. only bought 3 items and only one was a bottle. not even a soda bottle at that. not that there wasn't alot of great stuff just a case of nothing i couldn't live with out.

Around $40 I believe. He had $50 on it. As many that were sold in lots at the Mebane Country Store Auction I really thought they would start showing up on Ebay by now.

I was able to score mine for $5, the guy I bought it from did not know anything about bottles and at the time I did not know what it might be worth but I knew if it was Double Dot that it had to be worth good money. The bottom has 1948. I picked up the Dr. Pepper Grenade for $6 at a flea market. They didn't last long because they were so small that people thought they were not getting a good deal for their money. I also took a picture with my tallest bottle, a Pint Pop Kola.
