Digging Partners - Marquette, Michigan

Hi,
I would like to know if there are any bottle diggers in the Marquette, Michigan area. I will be attending graduate school there later this month until early May 2006 and Aug. 2006 - May 2007. Let me know if you will be in the area for some digging adventure!

Almost!
I grew up about an hour south of there...haven't lived in the UP for a few years though. And I'm not as familiar with the historic sites around Marquette or I'd give you some tips. I could fill you in on the Escanaba area, but Marquette is actually a little more historic...should be some good digs there!

I don't have a car, so a partner with a car would be ideal. I would probably hit some of the older homes in the surrounding countryside. I probably won't get down to Escanaba. However, if you know of other diggers in the area, maybe we can arrange something. Keep me posted. In the meantime, I will be metal detecting the homes, beaches and parks!
