I recently bought this insulator at an antique store and don't know who made it or how old it is. It's a cool dark green, so it stood out against all the other aqua and clear ones. If anyone knows anything about it or what it's worth I'd appreciate it.

It's a CD 162. GE sold insulators marked with the star. Probably made in Elmer, NJ. They turn up in a variety of green shades along with plain aqua. Usually aqua is a few dollars, and a green would sell for around 10-20, perhaps a bit more if it's a really vivid green color or an unusual shade. I can't tell from your photo what color it might be.

Thanks! The shade appears to be a dark, olive green.
