Dug a woodlined Privy Today

[] Got out today with my Buddy Tom. I probed out what I thought felt like a privy. Ended up being newer 1970's or 80's garbage. Tom said I got a good one over here. I poked it with my probe & thought the dirt was to hard but he insisted it was a good one. Good it was, he got a old embossed wine bottle in first 2 feet. Then we started getting lots of embossed blob beers & lots of little whiskey bottle slicks. Heres some pics below. LEON.

That looks like a great spot to dig with some shade for protection. That usually means roots though. Thanks for taking us along. I would like to know what we are looking at as it goes forward in sequence though. Those look like terrific bottles, what are their rarity or are they common? Jim

Most of the bottles were what I think some people call TEE PEE bottles because of the shape. Most were from Frank Marx Brewing co. in Michigan. In both Amber & Aqua blobs. Then some amber Goebel early crown tops & some misc. Frank Marx was in Business from 1904-1909 from what my American Breweries II book sez. LEON.
