Your odds of getting another is about ZERO,but who knows. This bottle is not listed in the GA. crowntop bottle book. Must be on the scarce side.

RE: Recent additions to the embossed family!!

A few years ago I dug a lime green BLUD WINE not far from where I live. I did not look where it was from. I sold it for $10. I messed up didn't I?

RE: Recent additions to the embossed family!!

I have been interested in ANYTHING that was bottled in Forsyth GA, since none of the residents have ever known or heard of anything being bottled there EVER!

I have found this bottle, a Pepsi, (both TOC) and a Double Line and Double Cola from the Seminole Flavor Company (40s-50s I think). All of these were bottled in Forsyth GA

Unfortunately this bottle was hit pretty hard by the excavator. I was really surprised just how well it stood up to such a hit. They REEEEEALY made them thick back then!!!

RE: Recent additions to the embossed family!!

Are you saying there is the possibility that this is the ONLY one that has been found?

Makes me feel bad that this one was damaged.

RE: Recent additions to the embossed family!!

What do you suppose the value of this bottle would be since it has been damaged?
I dont normally ask, but I would like to know for one this scarce.

Thanks

Ask Ken Nease or Carl Barnett, they can tell ya. Need their no.? Ken is in Manassas. Jamie 10.00 is about right, 20 maybe. It would have been from Augusta [;)]. That's where they made the green ones for. Just like the OCs.

RE: Recent additions to the embossed family!!

As for the value, damage does not always affect the value on a super rare bottle. Sure a mint bottle is always worth a heck of alot more than a broken one, but if it's rare, it's rare. Your bottle is pretty scarce, and I haven't seen one that isn't broken just to give you an idea of how elusive that one is.
