Here are a couple of bottles that I was wondering if anyone has seen before. I was able to dig a privy with Mark (Cazdigger) on a quick strike road trip that enabled me to help dig a couple of privies that he had probed out. They turned out to be one empty and one 1890s with a few bottles in it. In that one, Mark let me take home this jar.
The Red Book has it listed as "unpriced", which I've learned over the years has nothing to do with something being listed as "priceless". It basically means they dont have pricing data on it yet, either because it is super rare, or no one has sold one at auction before.
It's about 6" tall, with a ground top. Burnham's Seafood New York

Ground top

Not a pretty jar, but maybe of interest to oyster jar collectors?

Here's the big clam bouillon bottle. Tooled top blob, reads "SCHLEIER & ROSS CLAM BOUILLON - NEW YORK AND LONDON".

This one came out of a river, I think, a few years ago. Haven't found a thing on this one yet.

Thats all I've got for now
happy diggin
Bram
