Finally a ginger beer

I know that two-tone ginger beers from Scotland are common as fleas, but this is my first intact example (after a bazillion fragments). Grosvenor, Glasgow.

never found any ginger beers here that weren't broken and haven't found more than a couple broken ones so not that easy to find

This is just a plain ginger beer with no transfer so although it may be your first in one piece it is not a collectable bottle for us in Scotland
as when we dig such we leave them behind for those in North America to pick pu when on holiday across the pond....LOL

Nice! Always wanted to find one that wasn't broken. It seems to be impossible. 3 years of hunting and so far only fragments.

This is the fractured base of one of the latest ones I found. I don't know what the stamp says, but I guess it would be the name and place of manufacture like is is on yours.

I have found comparatively rare glass bottles from the same time period (mid-19th century) but all I ever wanted was an intact stoneware bottle, the dream still alludes me.

That's written on mine? Wow, I should have noticed it was the same as the one RelicRaker posted! Even with the number 14 in the center. That means I have to go back and keep looking in that area for intact examples!

I think they are pretty common to find here also, at least in the Detroit Michigan area. LEON.

These are generally ale bottles. I have never seen ads for ginger beer imported from the UK.
