Went out digging over the last two days and plan to go out again tomorrow. Nothing beats bottle digging in January!

Today's notable finds:
1. Boley Manufacturing Co.
2. The F. & M. Schaefer Brewing Co. (Clear variant)
3. Walter Gubner & Sons of 78 & 80 Bank Street NY (soda/water).

1. W & Co. Alton Hanley pitcher.
2. Hires Household Extract.
3. Atwood's Jaundice Bitters.
4. Wyeth & Bro.
5. George Knorr & Sons of 341 Fairmont Ave. Brooklyn NY.
6. Collins The Druggist of Willingford, CT.

Excavating the fully intact Whittaker & Co. Alton Hanley pitcher along with a matching lid.

This pitcher was made in England between 1886-1892.

I really like that Pitcher, I've found similar stuff but almost always broke. Congrats. LEON.

Great finds! That's very lucky to have found the matching lid alongside the pitcher, I wouldn't have expected a pitcher like that to even have a lid. Amazing that both were intact as well, I wonder why they threw it out.
I can only imagine how cold that water must be at this time of year!

Yes, and I don't know why but I just knew it was going to be complete so I took my time digging it out very carefully. Most ceramic I have found in this site isn't this nice.
