Wow, it's been a loooooooooong time since I've been on this forum. Fountain pens and photography had taken over as my main hobbies, but I'm back, and with my first insulator! It's a Hemingray #16 in Hemingray blue glass (looove the color!). It's in good condition, just a few tiny chips and three stains that will go away after some more cleaning. The imprint is: HEMINGRAY-16 MADE IN U.S.A. Got it at a local antique store for 2$.(It's the store where I found my VENENO poison)
How old is it, and how much is it worth?

It's from the 1920s. It's worth about what you paid for it. Hemi blue glass is attractive and these make nice windowsill pieces without having to shell out a fortune.

Thanks for the answer! It's older than I thought, I was thinking 1930's or so. Glass insulators are really attractive indeed! Now I have something more on my list of things to look for in flea markets and antique stores.
