I have a pint whiskey bottle marked "Greenbrier Distillery Co"; Nelson County, KY. The seal is unbroken and the bottle is slightly less than full due to evaporation.

There is further indication that it was made in 1914 and bottled in 1924--during Prohibition. It is also marked "For Medicinal Purposes Only". It is my understanding that this particular distillery was one of a few that was allowed to bottle whiskey during Prohibition, provided it was for medicinal purposes only.

I have been looking for more information, including the possible value of this bottle, but all I can find out is that Greenbrier Distillery is no longer in existance. Can anyone help? Or maybe point me in the right direction? Sorry I don't have a pic...I will be able to post one later...Thanks!
