Stopped over at a friend's house last week who I had not visited in a while and found this Mountain Dew sign hanging in his garage . It is made of metal and measures thirty four inches tall by fifty eight inches wide , nice graphics . I thought maybe the forum members would like to see it . Hope you enjoy viewing it .

Some times a sign is dated , I looked all over this one for a date but did not find one . Myself , I have no idea as to its age . I am sure some one out there probably knows .

Looks like the Pepsi era Hillbilly, so this would be mid to late 1960's. I'll have to pull out my book and see if I can get a more accurate date

Ok That one looks like the one labeled S038 in Dick Bridgeforth's book; however he is showing an example page of a 1967 ad promo book. Look on the outside edge of the sign that isn't visible from the front. It may be on the side or the lower right hand corner area and see if you see a number like this 12-65. The sign he took pictures of is December 65.
