I have a number of bottles that are heavy glass with rounded bottoms. Wondering what they are used for and what they might be worth. Thanks for any help.
All the embossed ones I've seen have been for ginger ale, there are labelled examples for other drinks but those may have been reused bottles. Value is unfortunately pretty minimal, like $1-5 although you might be able to get more based on the curiosity factor. They're very common though, huge numbers of these things were shipped over from the UK. Even the embossed ones are generally pretty common, unless you can find one from a company in the US or Canada.
I just noticed that you said these are from the Kennedy Compound. That's really the most interesting thing about them, although the one you showed is probably too old for a Kennedy to have drank from it.
Hamilton bottles had to be stored on thier side so it kept the cork from drying out and losing the seal. More likely they will be returned being unstandable.
