I found this Spanish bottle in a Colonial house in Venezuela.
We are interested to identify date range and possible use in order to help dating an archaeological site.

The bottle has an inscription of " Instituto Ravetllat - Pla Barcelona" (Instituto in Spanish mean like a "Lab" or "Develop Institute").

The bottle is about 5 inch high, 2 inch wide and 1 inch deep. (scale in Centimeters)

In general the lip looks independent or added after bottel mold (seam don't reach the top).

Seam croos the bottle by the corner to the neck not in the midle of the sideplane.

Color is dark amber (uniform pattern)

Botton shows a "G" as a mark in the center (no other numbers or letters). The botton also shows glass cooling marks, more or less concentric.

Any suggestion?

No idea if this bottle is before of after 1900. We are assuming that should be after 1900.

Thanks

Hello and Welcome to Antique-Bottles.net,
I see that you found the forum. I also did an AOL Google search and only found three websites, that are not a complete match using the embossment
Instituto Ravetllat - Pla Barcelona
. I can't translate or read them, maybe you can. The link is here:

http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/search?query=Instituto+Ravetllat+-+Pla+Barcelona&invocationType=channelstrip.%2Fdirsearch.adp

Hopefully someone here may help you. Best of luck.
