Hello all,

I recently obtained this bottle and was wondering if it is assoc with the Sante Fe railroad. It has a light blue tint. Also would like to know what was served in it and what time frame this is from. I am a railroad enthusiast and my sister is a Coca Cola enthusiast. So, if it serve Coke, then will probably give it to her. Thanks for any info that can be provided.

What makes you suspicion there is a RR connection?

Check out earlier Fred Harvey bottles on the site. I definitely get the RR connection. Not rare but interesting.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did notice one difference in the other posts from the one I have. The bottle I have has “Registered” on it. So I am now wondering what that means if anything. More back to the Coke question. Would water be in the non-registered but in the registered version. Or maybe just a different year issued.

From what I know, Coca Cola had their own Bottling Plant in Newton Kansas. So there Hobble Skirt Coke Bottles were made there from 1915 up into the 1950s. Coke put the City And/or State on Bottom of Bottles. In this case Fred Harvey Newton on bottom of Bottle. LEON.

P.S. Pic below.
