Went digging a few days ago, and although the packed "stoneware" layer seems pretty much tapped-out, just randomly digging through the ash and relatively thin layers of refuse proved more productive than I expected.
Got 2 new collection bottles; the 4 ounce Wheeler and 3 ounce Red Cross pharmacy bottles. Also included is a 6 ounce Heschong druggist from a dig a while back. In addition, I found 2 "The Shaker Family Pills" smalls, which I've never dug before. When the first one rolled out I thought "Huh, a sample size Ely's Cream Balm?", seeing how I had never encountered other rectangular embossed amber bottles with that lip finish before. A cool addition to the box full of smalls and samples. Also, it seems that they are worth more than your average small; a welcome revelation. Got a tall clear St Louis Garret & Co wine, 4 hutches, and other interesting things.
The broken beer is a "Sam Cohen Beer Bottler Kensington, ILL" which was absorbed into Chicago's South Side. The cracked BIM milk is a pint "Peoria Sanitary Milk Co." which would have been a dandy if intact.
"The Shaker Family Pills A.J. White Dose 2 to 4"
Woohoo! A rather tough Peoria patent med. I have this size but have never dug anything intact from the company before so its discovery was a great moment. Loaded with embossing and perfect aside from a little internal cloudiness.
