My sister gave these to me. She found them in a shed on a farm in eastern OR she just sold. I'm interested in selling but can't find some on-line. I haven't been able to find anything on the cone top Southern Brewing Co. Special Brew can.

You cant find anything on the Southern Brewing cone top because it was never made in a cone top. it was only made in a flat top. The can you have is a home made phoney fake, no insult intended. You could try selling these as a group on ebay. Good Luck. LEON.

p.s. if anything any good in there the vultures lurking in this site will be sure to contact you, probably by P.M.

I would do what it sounds like your doing and look around online to get a feel for prices.

A great site full of helpful can collectors is Rustybunch.com.

there is a serious market for rusty (offgrade) cans - so while people may offer you pennies for your rusty cans and tell you they aren’t worth much - some may still be worth quite a bit.

when you find rusty cans at your bottle dumps in the woods - don’t be so quick to give them away or Sell them for a couple bucks - no matter what some unscrupulous people may tell you. They are easy to clean and some are easily worth many 100s even rusty.

Leon:
I appreciate your expertise but if the Southern Brewing is real, it would be quite valuable? To a novice, like myself, it appears to be real. It's completely metal - I checked it with a magnet.

People will cut the cone off of another can and add it to the flat top version -

The rust around the top hasn't been disturbed. It was in an old shed on a farm where it sat for many years. If it is a fake, it was altered back in the day.

They guys that do it can take the cans apart. That’s how people can take a crushed can and make them look good again -

check out some videos on it

Since they came straight from an old shed to me and considering the dust and rust, I'm going with the real deal.
