Hi...I am new to this site. I have come accross some Gooderham & Worts Adverting Tokens (I think they are advertising tokens) I have them in white and in Blue. They are about the size of a poker chip and are made out of the same material or bake-lite). Maybe the were used for an advertising campagne or they were used as tokens at events where you had to buy your tickets from the cashier and then take your ticket (in this take token) to get your drink.

ONE SIDE OF THE CHIP READS:
G & W
SPECIAL
CANADIAN
RYE WHISKEY

THE OTHER SIDE READS:
GOOERHAM & WORTS LTD.
DISTILLERS
SINCE
1832
TORONTO
CANADA

can anyone tell me more info abut these and maybe put a value on them for me

Hey seagull,

Welcome to the A-BN and thanks for bringing the advertising chip. I'm sure it's a post Prohibition item.

Why do you say bakelite? Your photo looks a bit fuzzy to me, but I would assume bakelite to have a shinier sheen? Is it at all translucent? I'm not seeing a patina. How'd you come by them. What's the blue guy look like?
